The candidate should direct the request to the controller which is possible through specific features in Jobylon’s solution. Jobylon is not allowed to act on instructions from the candidate, only from the controller.

The right to rectification means that the candidate has a right to have any inaccurate personal data rectified without undue delay. The right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) means that, under certain circumstances, the candidate has a right to have his or her personal data deleted permanently. This right is applicable e.g. when the purpose of the processing is already fulfilled, if a consent has been revoked or if the personal data has been unlawfully processed. The candidate may also have a right to limit the processing, i.e. to forbid certain processing.

Please note that if a data subject objects to the processing that you do based on your legitimate interests, based on grounds relating to his or her particular situation, you must delete the data unless you can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
