How do you interpret the line graph?
The line graph is the best graph type to use if you want to see the development of your result over time (read more about how to change graph type to line graph here). When you choose the line graph, you get a table with 3 lines that help you interpret your result:
The purple line shows the global average, ie. the average for all Trustcruit users. The light blue line shows the average for your company. The dark blue line shows the average for the segment or filter you are viewing. In the example above, the segment is "All data" but there is a filter added for the location "Sweden" and the benchmark is set to "Privately held". The help text in the bottom middle of the graph shows which segment it is, and the filter is shown at the top of the card.
By using the line graph you can easily see if the result is below or above average, and you also get an understanding whether the development over time is positive or negative. In the example above the time period is set to the last 12 months, so each dot on the line equals a month.
