Which kind of user roles do Trustcruit have?

There are three types of user roles:

  • Segment-user

  • Account-user, not admin

  • Account-user, admin

As a Segment user, you can only see the data on the segment that you are invited to. The Segment user can invite other users to that segment.

As an Account-user (whether you are an admin or not), you can view the data on all segments of the account. If you are Account-user and admin, you can invite other users and create segments. If you do not have admin access, you cannot invite new users.

How do you invite a user do the dashboard?

A Segment user is invited in the dashboard and you need to be on the segment that you want the new user to have access to. Press the "Manage users" button to get to the invite page where you can enter the email address of the person you want to invite:

To invite an Account user, press the gear symbol the bottom left, press "invite"

After that, press "Invite" to get to the invitation page:

Enter the email address and choose whether the user should be administrator or not, i.e. if the user should be able to invite other users. After that, press "send invitations".

When you send an invitation, regardless if it is for a segment user or account user, the person receives an invitation that needs to be accepted within two weeks. If you miss accepting the invitation, an admin can renew it on the "Manage members" page (for segment users) or on the "My Company - Invite" page (for account users).
