Weighted Screening Questions let you rank candidates based on their answers to specific screening questions during application.

Especially useful for volume recruitments, which create a lot of admin work due to the high number of applicants. It provides a simple yet valuable way to filter and rank candidates based on their answers to screening questions when applying for a job.

How to set it up

  1. Head over to "Tools and Settings" to enable the feature in your account (Limited to administrators)

2. When your job ad has been created, head over to "Application form" to enable weighted screening questions for your questions. A new icon is now shown on the question

3. Once you click on the icon, a new window will appear where you define the scores for each answer. If there is an answer option that carries more weight than the others, assign a higher score to that option. The higher the score, the more interesting the application based on the answers to the screening questions. The score range can be set from -1000 to +1000 points.

Additionally, you can create screening questions with a specific answer option as a requirement. This is used in cases where certain skills or experience are required for employability. By setting a specific answer option as required, you can easily see which applications do not meet the requirement directly in the application list, shown in either red or green (Qualified/Not qualified)

View the results in the application list and on the application card

  1. To view the weighted scores in the list view, click the cogwheel on the right to enable it.

Note that these scores are only accessible through a specific job, as each job has its scoring setup.

2. Qualified questions can also be filtered, found on your left under 'By qualifications'

3. The scores are also visible on the application card. As mentioned above, the different colors—red and green—indicate whether the candidate is qualified or not (see point 3 above). Blue is seen as a "neutral" color, meaning no weighted scores are applied.
