Introducing Self Scheduling and Video Conferencing 🎥

In this article, we’ll introduce you to Jobylon’s event scheduler. A powerful tool that streamlines the interview booking process. By creating a scheduling link through Cronofy, you can set your availability, making it easy for candidates to book interviews at times that work for you.
To be able to use the functionality, there are two different ways to connect your calendar:
Connect Individually (on a user level) which allows users on an individual level sync their account.
Enterprise Connect. This solution eliminates the need for individual users to synchronize their calendars, as Enterprise Connect manages synchronization automatically for all users.
Once you have connected your calendar – either through Enterprise Connect or Individual Connect – you can start using the functionality. We'll walk you through it below.
How it works
Set your availability
1. Set your availability to be displayed on your self-scheduling link. As described, the blue indicates selectable time slots on your link, while the grey represents non-selectable ones. Tip: To select multiple slots at once, click and drag across them. Finish by selecting your time zone, and when you’re done, click "Save new rules."
Other Settings
Let's move on to the last step of configuring your self scheduling link. Next to "Availability", you'll find "Other settings"
These settings control the events on your self-scheduling link. You can specify the duration of each appointment, the lead time required for booking, and other related details. These settings will be applied by default when sharing your link with candidates, but you can still make adjustments for each link before it is sent to the candidate. How to use the Self Scheduler link
1. When composing a message to a candidate, you now have a new icon called "Schedule"
2. Begin by composing your message as usual. When you’re ready, click on the schedule icon to add your link. A new window will appear, showing the options you’ve set in your profile settings. If needed, you can still adjust these settings now.

The link will be added to your message as shown below
The candidate will now receive an email, with a link to your availability
Once they click on the link, they will be redirected to a page where they can choose from a list of your available times that you have configured.
6. When a time is selected, an invitation will be sent to the candidate, including a link to the video conferencing (if configured), and it will be automatically added to your calendar.
7. The scheduled event will also be visible on the application in Jobylon
Add your self scheduling link to Pipeline Actions
Another great way to use the self-scheduling link is by adding it to your pipeline actions settings.
This allows you to automate your process even further by automatically sending the link when a candidate reaches a specific stage.
To give an example: when a candidate reaches the "Interview 1" stage, you can automatically send them a message inviting them to book an interview using your self-scheduling link.
The first user in the list, is the user who is set as the organiser for the event. If you want someone else to be the organiser for the event, simply replace the user with another person.
